Dermaplaning Facial

First, our facialist will tailor a treatment specifically designed to help you address your needs whilst in the relaxed facial room prior to enjoying your pampering facial. We will analyze your skin's needs before beginning the facial with a deep cleanse. After cleansing, the exfoliation phase of the facial begins with light steam and our Myrrhaculous Peeling Gel Enzyme exfoliant, followed by dermaplaning to physically scrape away toxins, vellous hair, and dead skin cells. (for extra exfoliation and brightening you can add a light acid peel for an additional fee).

Basalt Stone Facial

Basalt is used because it is a volcanic rock that retains heat that then penetrates deep into the tissue during a hot stone massage. From an energetic perspective, these volcanic stones have grounding, balancing and emotionally calming qualities

This facial is designed for all skin types and for improved benefits you can add Light Therapy for Collagen Stimulation or a Lactic or Glycolic Peel for deeper exfoliation. 

Facial Peels 

Chemical peels are great for improving elasticity, reducing wrinkle depth, minimizing fine lines, decreasing age spots, improving acne and enhancing and brightening skin tone.
 

Our Preferred Line: PCA Peels
PCA Peel Treatments Are the gold standard of chemical peels. These treatments are designed to work
in treating acne, aging skin, hyperpigmentation and overall appearance. Each client will be analyzed and
customized a regimen and treatment to individuals needs and goals. PCA peels are recommended every
4 – 6 weeks along with pre and post treatment care. This allows for outstanding results.

Preparation for a Peel

  • For best results and to reduce the risk of complications, it is recommended that you use PCA SKIN daily care products 10 to 14 days prior to treatment.

  • If you are lactating, pregnant or may be pregnant, only an Oxygenating Trio® or Detox Gel Deep Pore Treatment is appropriate. Consult your OB/GYN before receiving any treatment.

  • Do not go to a tanning bed two weeks prior to treatment. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.

  • It is recommended that extended sun exposure be avoided, especially in the 10 days prior to treatment.

  • It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo™, Ziana® and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately five days prior to treatment. Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

PCA SKIN superficial peels result in little to no downtime but create dramatic and visible results. Treatments may cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking or temporary dryness. Most patients find it unnecessary to apply makeup, as the skin will be smooth, dewy and radiant following your treatment. If you would like to apply makeup, allow approximately 15 minutes for the pH of the skin to stabilize before applying foundation.
